NCMA – North Texas Mentoring Program is Taking Off
The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) - North Texas Mentoring Program was establish in 2016. The idea is to introduce the current generation of students to Contract and Subcontract Management by connecting them with professionals already in the profession. The vehicle of operation being the Mentoring Program established by the NCMA-North Texas Chapter.
To date, NCMA-North Texas has paired up five mentees with five Mentors. Mentors are from a range of companies including Raytheon, Eurocopter USA, Signal Analysis and Veterans Administration. Mentees are a mix of professionals already in the workforce, recently graduated college, and still in college.
The NCMA-North Texas mentoring program matches experienced Contract Management and Subcontract Management professionals with students and those newly entering the profession to guide them in their job search and help them get a taste of what real world Contract Management is all about.
